Uniforms
Mt. Zion Christian Academy takes pride in the appearance of its students. Each student’s image should reflect a positive image of the school and contribute to a distraction-free learning environment. Appropriate student dress and grooming are important factors in the safe and orderly operation of our school. There is a close relationship between high standards of dignity and pride and proper grooming. The students and parents share in that responsibility. Students should be dressed and groomed in a manner that is clean and neat, with hair that is also clean, neat, and well-groomed.
Our students are not allowed to wear halter tops, spaghetti-strapped tank tops, or any clothing that exposes the abdominal area. All shorts, skorts, jumper, or skirts should be worn at an appropriate length; no shorter than the end of the fingertip when the arm is extended straight down the side of the body. Pants are to be sworn at the waist level always. Student should wear shoes that will be safe for all activities, including P.E. Students are encouraged to wear tennis shoes daily. Heels are limited to 2” or less.
Our official uniform is worn daily. On Fridays, students have the option of wearing different shoes and socks and blue jeans or knee length shorts and skirts.
